Privacy Policy

Safari Capture is committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy explains how our Safari extension handles your data.

Data Collection

Safari Capture does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The extension operates entirely locally on your device.

How the Extension Works

Safari Capture allows you to capture elements from web pages. All operations happen locally:

  • Screenshots are generated on your device
  • Copied content goes directly to your clipboard
  • Downloaded files are saved to your local storage

No Analytics

We do not use any analytics, tracking, or telemetry. Your browsing activity and captured content remain completely private.

Permissions

Safari Capture requires certain permissions to function:

  • Active Tab Access: Required to capture elements from the current webpage
  • Clipboard Access: Required to copy images and text to your clipboard

These permissions are used solely for the extension's core functionality and not for any data collection purposes.

Third-Party Services

Safari Capture does not integrate with or send data to any third-party services.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
